Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said the August 2nd public meeting of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be turned into a human sea.”If BNP would try to create any anarchy, it would be resisted along with people,” he told a special extended meeting of AL Rangpur division at Shilpakala Academy here.Dr Hasan urges all leaders of activists of AL to present the development of the country as well Rangpur division before the people.He said masses will join the rally enthusiastically if speeches of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, songs of the Liberation War, and real pictures of development are publicized.About BNP, the information minister said, the secretary general of BNP has said that their movement will not be peaceful. They have proved that violence is the main target of the party as it demanded resignation of the government and dissolving of the parliament before the election, he added.Dr Hasan said the government had faced the violence carried out by BNP in 2013, 2014 and 2015. If they want to create any chaos, it will be resisted along with the countrymen, he noted.Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Jakir Ahmed, Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim, AL Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauudin Nasim, among others, addressed the meeting as special guests with AL Treasurer HN Ashiqur Rahman, MP, in the chair.AL Organising Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi addressed it as the key speaker while AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua, Deputy Publicity Secretary Abdul Awal Shamim, central members Advocate Safura Begum Rumi and Advocate Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia, among others, also addressed the meeting.
