Professor Swapnil presented the keynote paper at the Health Conclave in Assam

Desk Report: Recently in Guwahati, the capital of Assam, “Byatikram Health Conclave 2023” was organized under the initiative of Byatikram Mass  Awareness and Social Development Organization. Apart from Assam, the day-long conclave organized at the elite Vivanta by Taj Hotel in Guwahati saw the representation of senior officials of India’s top private hospitals, pharmaceuticals and specialist doctors, as well as other stakeholders in the health sector and the media.

This successful health conclave was organized mainly to showcase Assam’s recent progress in the healthcare sector, investment opportunities and the latest advancements in medical science as a whole. The day-long panel discussion featured discussions on various topics including artificial intelligence, robotic surgery.

India’s popular English weekly magazine The Week published a special insert on the occasion. Main stream newspapers such as The Times of India, Eastern Chronicle, Dainik Janmbhumi, Rising Assam etc. also covered the event prominently.

Bangabandh Sheikh Mujib Medical University’s Chief Professor of Interventional Hepatology Department presented the keynote paper at the conclave. Professor Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab Swapnil In his speech, Swapneel highlighted the achievements of Bangladesh in the health sector including Community Clinic, The Sheikh Hasina Initiative, Covid-19 Management. He urged Indian corporate hospitals to invest in Bangladesh’s health sector, as it would benefit the population of North-East India.

Before this, the central convenor of Sampriti Bangladesh, Piyush Bondhupadday  and Professor Dr. Swapnil participated in the official opening ceremony of the conclave.
