Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has so far handed over 11 bikes and a scooty to students aiming to encourage them continue their studies.The minister gave a scooty to Srabony Akter, a student of Dhaka Poly Technique Institute, at his own residence in Monipuripara under Tejgaon police station today, said a press release here today.After receiving the scooty, Srabony Akhter expressed her happiness and said, “From now, I can go to my school without any hassle.” She thanked the minister for taking such initiative.Besides, Kamal also bought bikes for the leaders and activists of Awami League under his constituency.A resident of Shilpanchal police station Kazi Rezaul Haque expressed his joy as he received a bike from the minister.In addition to establishing new schools, colleges and libraries in the area, the minister has been renovating the old educational institutions and distributing teaching and learning materials, including notebooks and pens among students.
