Five civilians were killed by Russian fire on Saturday in Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Kherson regions, their governors said.”Three people have been killed and five injured as a result of Russian aggression today,” Oleksandr Prokudin, governor of the southern Kherson region, wrote on social media.The three victims were a 72-year-old woman, a 50-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man, Prokudin said. Oleg Synegubov, governor of Kharkiv region, said Russian strikes on a “civilian infrastructure facility” in the village of Budy had killed three people and injured 22.The village is located southwest of the regional capital Kharkiv.The Ukrainian army said in its daily update that the Kharkiv region, which has been the focus of a new Russian offensive for the past two months, was “under constant bombardment by enemy aircraft”.Russian forces have pressing along the whole front line in recent months and making gradual advances against often outmanned and outgunned Ukrainian troops which are awaiting more Western arms deliveries.
