ET Desk: City Bank employees collectively stand by the flood affected people by donating their 1 day salary. Besides, an initial assistance fund of Tk. 3 crore has been prepared with the remaining money from the bank’s CSR budget.
City Bank authorities will pay Rs 1 crore to the chief adviser’s relief fund. And the remaining money has been given to Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Prothom Alo Trust and Action Aid.
City Bank authorities said that they will use it as immediate relief and for overall rehabilitation once the flood waters recede.
