Rajshahi University (RU) Marketing Department Professor, Mohammad Nirjhar Rahman newly appointed as accounts director (additional charge) joined today on Sunday.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Saleh Hasan Naqeeb appointed him to this position. The officers and employees of the Finance and Accounts Department were present while joining the duties.

After joining the duties, the Accounts Director expects the cooperation of all concerned in fulfilling his duties.

However, Prof. Mohammad Nirjhar Rahman received a Bachelor’s (Honours) and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Rajshahi University in 1984 and 1985 respectively. He is one of the meritorious students of the first batch of marketing department.

It’s noted that Professor Mohammad Nirjhar Rahman joined the RU Marketing Department as a lecturer in 1990 and was promoted to the rank of Professor in 2013. He also held several other important duties including President of the Department Resident Teacher of two Halls and Officer-in-Charge of ICMAB, Rajshahi Centre. Several of his research articles have been published at home and abroad.
