RU Correspondent: The admission test of the B (Commerce) Unit under Rajshahi University (RU) has been completed in five regional centres across the country. A total of 7288 candidates were absent in the exam.

According to university sources, for the first time, the admission test of RU was held not only in Rajshahi but also in five regional centres—Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, and Rangpur. A total of 42,443 candidates registered for the B Unit admission test. Among them, 35,145 candidates were present. The attendance rate stood at 82.82 percent. That means 7288 candidates were absent.

Out of the total 42,443 candidates, 13,631 appeared at Rajshahi University centre; 15,730 at Dhaka University centre; 5553 at Begum Rokeya University centre; 4010 at Khulna University centre; and 3509 at Chattogram University centre.

It is to be noted that on the second day of the admission test, April 19, the A Unit (Humanities) exam will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. On the third day, April 26, the C Unit (Science) exam will take place at the same times.
