Allegation of child abuse to Deputy Chief Dr. Raju Ahmed of Rajshahi University Hospital. The faculty members of a department of Rajshahi University claims , the 13 year child was abused by the Doctor at early Monday night.

In Human chains at the front of Senate Building Today 12:00 PM demands extreme punishment to Dr. Raju Ahmed for abusing child and spreading propaganda at early night.

Stand with placards including “If child are precious in your sight abusing them isn’t right”, “#stop_child_abuse”, “Speak up stand up stop child abuse”, “we want justice”, “Sexual Harassment is social cit”

Social work department prof. Jannatul Ferdous expressing solidarity with the human chain said that, Raju Ahmed has been doing similar incidents for a long time. Before this, there were allegations against him of molesting women. That cannot contain itself; Not only his job, but his medical certificate should be revoked. He drew the attention of the university administration and state authorities in this regard.

Professor Abdul Alim of Law Department, Professor Laila Arjuman Banu of Chemistry Department, Director of National Women Lawyers Association Dil Setara Chuni and others also spoke at the human chain. Apart from this, Prof. Rizaul Karim Sheikh, Tawfiq Alam, Syed MA Chalam, A. Naeem Faruqi, Chaiful Islam, Khairul Islam etc. of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Department were present in the program.

In this regard, Golam Sabbir Sattar, Vice-Chancellor of the University, said that the family of the victim’s child has come and met. A written complaint has been asked. University administration will investigate the complaint and take appropriate action. Also since a case has been filed, the case will continue in the state legal process.
