The people in the country are now living in peace, Umme Fatema Nazma Begum (Sheuly Azad) said.

The ruling Awami League lawmaker was addressing the daylong Livestock Exhibition -2023 at the premises of Sarail upazila livestock office and veterinary hospital on Saturday.

With the slogan ‘Smart Livestock, Smart Bangladesh ‘, the livestock show was organized by the upazila administration, livestock department and veterinary hospital.

MP Sheuly Azad, also the general secretary of Sarail upazila Awami League, said, “The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has implemented different development programs for people’s welfare. For the continuation of development pace, the hands of Sheikh Hasina must be strengthened.”

“After getting training free, many youths have become self-reliant by rearing livestock,” she added. Chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Sarwar Uddin, the program was also addressed by Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Abu Hanif Mia, Sarail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Aslam Hossain, Awami League leader Mostafizur Rahman, Sarail Upazila Reporters Unity General Secretary Taslim Uddin, Jubo League leader Kazi Shelvi, among others.

Upazila Livestock Officer (acting) Dr Shyamal Kumar Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech at the function.
