Rajshahi University (RU) Public Relations Administration held the 2023-2024 session admission test regarding a press conference at the senate building today.

March 5 to 7 2024 will held (2023-2024) session admission test in Rajshahi University. This year minimum of 2 lakh students will come to attend the admission test.

Steps taken by the authority to conduct the admission test properly:

1. University teachers-officers-employees, law and order for the smooth conduct of admission-examination

2. Call letters have been circulated seeking the cooperation of all including Defense Force officials.

3. University authorities are continuing their activities along with communication and coordination with proctorial bodies/various organizations and stakeholders including police administration.

4. Assured to provide necessary support to parents.

5. Special security and traffic control arrangements will be in place in the campus and adjoining areas by the Proctor.

6. The proctor’s office has negotiated with mess-owner associations. Students who want to join the organization

7. The Student Counseling Office has continued to take necessary action including determining what to do. 6. The Public Relations Department has taken measures to disseminate all the information related to the admission examination through you immediately. From 5 to 7 March teachers, officials and employees will use the ground of Sadhan Bangladesh for parking their cars. But they must park the vehicles within 7:30 minutes.

8. Outside the meeting at the academic level, the university authorities held a meeting with the senior police officers to determine the matters related to security during the examination from the time before the examination.

9. The university administration has also interacted with the law and order enforcement forces, NESCO, WASA, Sudheejan of Rajshahi, cultural workers, hotel, restaurant, and mess owners around the city and university, transport owners association and autorickshaw owners-workers association led by Hon’ble City Mayor.

10. The University administration has held meetings with experienced teachers/officers to take more effective steps in conducting the admission test.

11. The peace and order protection force will perform round-the-clock duty to provide immediate peace to the members of the Asadhu Chakra.

12. A medical team managed by Rabi Medical Center will work during the admission test. There will also be 4 ambulances around the clock. Also, a 2-member medical team and 1 ambulance run by Quantum Foundation will provide medical assistance. Also, 1 ambulance and a 2-member medical team of Rajshahi City Corporation will work.

13. During the examination, 11 parent tents were arranged at different places of the university. There will be 200 chairs for parents to sit in each test.

14. There are 11 washrooms for general use on the university campus. There will be easily visible banners and guidelines at 10 locations on campus to promote the issue. The issue has also been promoted through social media.

15. Also BNCC/Rover Scouts/Razors will assist candidates and parents through 12 helpdesks set up at various locations in the university. Food and water will be available at these helpdesks.

16. Distribution of all kinds of promotional leaflets inside the university is prohibited during the admission test

17. Instructions are being given not to throw garbage everywhere on the university campus but to put it in the dustbins installed at different places.

18. Each candidate is instructed to bring several copies of the admit card. Other clubs, associations, and organizations of candidates

19. The university will provide various social, cultural, and necessary support. But they cannot set up any kind of help desk or booth.

20. 150 volunteers from the University janitors and other voluntary organizations including Quantum Foundation will work to keep the campus clean.

21. Limited accommodation has been arranged for the candidates in various residential halls and university gymnasiums. Also, limited arrangements have been made for the location of women guardians in Rajshahi University’s Women’s Gymnasium and West 90 residence. Subject to the submission of a photocopy of the candidate’s admit card and photocopy of their national identity card, the parent of the candidate can stay on the campus on a limited basis.

22. Instructions have been issued to refrain from any form of harassment and fraudulent activities on the university campus and from overcharging for essential items and food in shops. Apart from this, a 10-member team of the Directorate of Consumer Affairs will be engaged in round-the-clock supervision to maintain the quality of food.

23. Law enforcement will take action against any rumor (even if it is on social media) related to the exam.

24. Candidates should keep their equipment at their own risk. In this regard, it is advised to avoid the dagger of any person/organization that is advertised as a facilitator.

25. There will be traffic and other safety awareness campaigns on the campus.

Vice-chancellors, Treasurer, Register, Chief Coordinator of admission test 3 unit(A, B, C), Student Advisor, Proctor, Admission sub-committee members, public relations administration, chief engineer, chief doctor, transport administration are present at this press conference.
