RU Correspondent: Rajshahi University (RU) held the admission test of the ‘C’ unit under different departments of the Science branch in the first year of Bachelor (Honours) in the academic year 2023-24 today.
The admission test started at 9 am and ended at 4:30 pm.
This year, out of 76 thousand 354 applicants in the ‘C’ unit, 82.1 percent appeared in the admission test of the four shifts.
According to the University Public Relations Office sources regarding the attendance in the admission test of ‘C’ unit, among the four groups of ‘C’ unit, 82.03 percent in the admission test of shift-1 held from 9 am to 10 am, shift-2 held from 11 am to 12 noon. 81.90 percent in the admission test, 82.07 percent in the shift-3 admission test held from 1 pm to 2 pm, and 82.47 percent of candidates appeared in the shift-4 admission test held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. No untoward incident occurred during the admission test.
On the occasion of the admission test, at 9:30 am Dr. In a press conference in front of the Qudrat-e-Khuda Academic Building, the University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar informed the mediapersons about the total number of applications for the admission test and the rules of the test.

At that time the University’s Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Sultan-ul-Islam, Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir, Acting Registrar Prof. Tariqul Hasan, Treasurer Prof. Abaidur Rahman Pramanik, Chief Coordinator of ‘C’ Unit Prof. Nasima Akhtar, University Proctor Professor Asabul Haque, Student Advisor Professor Jahangir Alam Saud, Administrator of Public Relations Department Professor Pradeep Kumar Pandey, and other senior officials were present.
In addition, On the second day of the admission test, the ‘A’ unit under various humanities departments will be held on Wednesday.
