IU ‘D’ Unit Admission process begins on April 13

IU correspondent: The ‘D’ unit intake test online application process for the first year honours’ courses under 2023-24 academic session of Theology and Islamic Studies faculty of Islamic University will begin on April 13. The admission test is scheduled to be held on 11 May. On the other hand, admission tests of the university’s other faculties, will be held under GST.

A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, was issued in this regard on Wednesday. The admission test will be held separately as there is no such subjects in other public universities.

Ali Hasan said, The admission seekers will be able to fill-out the admission form paying Tk 1500 vai online banking till April 25. After-all The admission test will be held on May 11 with total 80 mark MCQ. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ test. Applicants who are eligible for appearing at admission test must complete HSC/Equivalent Exam within 2022 or 2023 and SSC/Equivalent within 2019, 2020 or 2021.

This year candidates will contest for a total of 320 seats for the subject of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department, Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department and Da’wah and Islamic Studies department including Arabic Language and Literature department of the university.

Besides, Foreign Students can be admitted in this faculty by following Proper Formula under ‘Foreign Students Admission Ordinance’.

Details regarding the entry test would be available on the university website at www.iu.ac.bd. therefore, Date of Admit Card and Exam will be informed by next notice or SMS.
