Kyungdong University of South Korea has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rajshahi University(RU) to foster collaboration in higher education and research endeavors, today.
The signing ceremony was held at the Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam administration building conference room of Rajshahi University, starting at 10:15 am on Wednesday.
Representing their respective institutions, Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar and Kyungdong University President Professor John K. Lee formally signed the MoU.
Under this agreement, both universities will facilitate the exchange of students, faculty, and relevant personnel, conduct short-term training programs, and collaborate on joint research initiatives in fields such as computer engineering, artificial intelligence, business administration, and hotel management.
Notable attendees included Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Sultan-ul-Islam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir, Treasurer Prof. Abaidur Rahman Pramanik, Registrar Prof. Md. Tariqul Hasan, Proctor Prof. Asabul Haque, student-advisor Prof. Jahangir Alam Saud, Public Relations Department Administrator Professor Pranab Kumar Pandey, Institute of English and other Languages Director Professor Abdullah Al Mamun, Office of International Affairs Director Professor Md. Azizur Rahman, and Kyungdong University International Faculty Associate Dean Dr. Noor Alam, among others.
During the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University also presented a commemoration to the President of Kyungdong University in recognition of the partnership.
