ET Desk: Agreement regarding remittance services has been signed between Islami Bank Bangladesh plc and Nagad Limited. From now on, Nagad customers will be able to connect with Islami Bank to collect remittances sent from more than 200 countries around the world quickly and easily and withdraw money at minimum cash out charges.
Islami Bank Deputy Managing Director Miftah Uddin and Executive Director Maruful Islam Jhalak signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions in the presence of Islami Bank Managing Director Muhammad Munirul Mawla and Nagad Executive Chairman and CEO Tanveer A Mishuk at Islami Bank Tower on July 15.
Islami Bank Additional Managing Director Muhammad Qaiser Ali and Md Altaf Hussain, Deputy Managing Director Engineer AFM Kamaluddin and Kazi Md Rezaul Karim, Head of International Services Wing Md Ihsanul Islam, Senior Vice President Nazrul Islam, Vice President Md Omar Hayat Chowdhury, Overseas Head of Banking Division Saifuddin Mohammad Khaled and Chief Strategy Officer of Nagad Mo Mueez Tasnim Taqi and Head of Remittance Mohammad Ziaul Haque, Executives and officials of both institutions were present on the occasion.
