Hafiz Uddin urged the party’s leaders-workers to do politics to serve the people

ET Desk: BNP Standing Committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram today (Friday) urged the party’s leaders and workers to do politics to serve the people.
“BNP is working for strengthening country’s democratic system. BNP leaders and workers have to work for welfare of the people,” he said.

Hafiz Uddin Ahmed was talking to journalists after exchanging views with the leaders and workers of BNP and its associate bodies at Tazumuddin Upazila here.

Hafiz said, Bangladesh has earned freedom for the second time through the movement of students, common people and political parties.

“We think all citizens will live in peace and have the equal opportunity to practice their rights,” he said.

Tazumuddin upazila will be a peaceful abode for the people than ever before, the BNP leader said.

Convener of Upazila BNP Golam Mostofa Mintu, Member Secretary Omar Asad Rintu, Joint Conveners Maksudur Rahman and Zakir Hossain Howlader, President of Chandpur Union south unit BNP Mohiuddin Julfiquer, General Secretary of Sonapur union unit BNP Sahadat Hossain Patowary, leaders of Sonapur union BNP Dr. Feroj Shikder and Zakir Hossain Monu, General Secretary of Chanchra union BNP Abul Kalam Nirob and President of Upazila Olama Dal Abdul Halim Zahangir, were present.
