ET Desk: Islam is a powerful, dynamic, eternal, strong and universal code of life, which has come from Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; therefore, Member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan North and candidate for Member of Parliament from Sylhet-6 constituency Mohammad Salim Uddin has called on everyone to play the role of fearless soldiers in the field to change society based on Islamic ideals to achieve peace in this world and liberation in the Hereafter.

He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at an Eid reunion program for past and present members organized by the Beanibazar Upazila branch of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir at a local auditorium in Sylhet on Thursday. The program was presided over by Aminul Islam, president of the Beanibazar Upazila South, and the branch president The event, moderated by Abdullah Al Mamun, featured special guest speeches by Farid Al Mamun, Chairman of Muria Union No. 10, Mufassir Ahmed Faizi, Secretary of Bangladesh Charushilpi Parishad, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Barolekha Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami, Faisal Ahmed, Adilur Rahman, Sylhet District East Office Secretary of Chhatra Shibir, Munibur Rahman Pavel, Municipal Branch President of the Workers Welfare Federation, Kamrul Hasan Lodi, Former Secretary of the Upazila North Branch, Chabbir Ahmed Shipu, an expatriate in Sweden, Jamaat-e-Islami’s South Muria Union President Fazlul Haque, Chhatrashibir’s Sylhet District East HRD Secretary Ahbab Hossain Murad, West Branch President Abdul Mumin and College Branch President Fatehul Islam were also present. Also present were Beanibazar Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Abul Khair and former district president of Chhatra Shibir, Rukon Uddin, etc.
