Staff Correspondent : Marking 24 years of “Muhammadi Fatemi Islami Oikya Sansgtha”, a press conference was organized by “Bangladesh Sochetan Nagorik Samaj” at National Press Club at 10 am on Friday, March 24, 2023. At the press conference, Md. Abu Muslim Bin Hai, founder and president of the organization, presented a written statement on the activities of the past 24 years. It is mentioned in the speech, the organization has been working tirelessly to maintain the sense of brotherhood and harmony among the various faiths, ideologies, “religious and social” communities and peoples of the country. Expressing strong condemnation and regret from the organizations in the press conference for the unexpected events that happen at different times due to misunderstandings between believers of different ideologies, sects or communities in the country.is In the coming times, people and organizations of all ideologies and thoughts are called upon to formulate and implement auspicious behavior and welfare-oriented action plans. In the press conference, the recent barbaric attack on Allama Mufti Shariful Islam Noori Sahib in Brahmanbaria was strongly condemned. Involved in this incident, real criminals should be identified correctly. In the said incident, the people of the country expressed their gratitude to the countrymen for their cooperation and indirect cooperation with the law and order forces of the country. At the same time, the communal violence in the country is being fueled by the emotions of some individuals in the said incident, without any evidence and only on the basis of their own wrong thoughts, by blaming each other, and by provocative statements.Attempts to disrupt peace and order are strongly condemned. Besides, in the past, different terrorist attacks, including bomb attacks, have been strongly condemned in different places of the country, in various religious and social places including mosques, Imambaras.The attention of the appropriate authorities is drawn. The administration is specifically urged to be more vigilant so that in future no one can incite chaos and communalism. Basically, in the press conference, emphasis was placed on unity and brotherhood among believers of all creeds and thoughts. In the last 24 years of various programs of the organization – all the members of the organization, various media, all departments and institutions of the State including Police Administration, City Corporation are gratefully acknowledged for their cooperation. Similarly, in future, it is hoped to receive full cooperation from all departments and institutions of the state. At the press conference, all the members from different media were thanked. The founder and president of the organization, Md. Abu Muslim Bin Hai, was present at the press conference. Other personalities of the organization were also present, Md Khorshed Alam (Javed), Muhammad Jahangir Alam, Shah Muhammad Ali Abbas, Syed Ejaz Hossain, Shah Ali Mahadi, Muhammad Salim, Shah Ali Naki. Also, Mrs. Rani Begum, Chairperson of the Women’s Council of the organization,Member Secretary Rumana Afrin and Tasneem Fatema and Jannatul Ferdaus were present.
