Desk Report: Bangladeshi remittance fighter, UK expatriate Md Jahan Kabir Shipon strongly protested the news of “cheating is the profession of shipon in England” published on an unauthorized online portal called ‘Apan Desh.com’.

On July 26, 2023 at 16.00 hours, the remittance fighter of Bangladesh, expatriate of London Md. Jahan Kabir Shipon protested the news “Deception in England is the profession of shipon” published on the online portal Apan Desh.com.
He said, on the last 19 June 2023, “The family of expatriate Shipon, victim of Lakiyat Ullah’s outrage” published in a number of national dailies and online news, which was only the target of revenge of “Deputy Managing Director of Biopharma Limited Dr. Lokiot Ullah.
Remittance fighter of Bangladesh expatriates in London Jahan Kabir Shipon said, I went to London in 2008 to get higher education. After completing education I settled there doing business. By working hard, I have established a good position in business in London. Later I got married in my home country and brought my wife to London. In the last 15 years, I have sent several crores of remittances from London to Bangladesh. Which made the journey of our family and relatives much easier. All in all, our family is full of happiness.
He said, ‘During the corona pandemic in 2020, suddenly a student of my father’s acquaintance, Dr. Lakiot Ullah increases our contact with family whose house was in my native area. After a few days Dr. Lakiot Ullah came to London with his wife and children for his business. After coming, he stayed at my house for 8to 10 days. After that he went back home and kept in constant contact with our family.
Shipon also said, “After 2 years, in April 2022, Dr. Lokiot Ullah came back to London. Lakiot Ullah and his wife and children. Basically I knew that his wife had come to London for treatment as she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
This time also Lakiot Ullah and his family came to my house. Since she has come for treatment, as my father’s student, I supervised all the treatment of Lakiyat Ullah’s wife. I bear all the medical expenses and all the expenses.
He said, “Even though the treatment is over, Dr. Lakiot Ullah and his wife and children did not want to leave my house. Instead, Lakiot Ullah enrolled his children in a local school in London using my home address. Even he without my permission made an asylum claim or political asylum for his wife to the London government, showing me as a guarantor.

Lakiot Ullah claimed himself as a Jamaat leader to the London government and stated that his wife and children’s lives are in danger in Bangladesh. We held a press conference on this matter at the National Press Club, which was published in the national daily and online portals of Bangladesh.

Shipon said, Lakiot Ullah has harassed my family in various ways and trying to occupy my house in London and is still spreading false propaganda against me .
