Staff Correspondent: Junior Chamber International Bangladesh recently organized JCI Bangladesh Debate & Public Speaking Championship 2023 finale at the Universal College Bangladesh (LSE and Monash campuses) in the capital of Gulshan-1 on the March 31st, 2023 in the evening.
JCI 2023 World Vice President Marii Kitamura attended the event as the Chief guest. JCI Bangladesh National President, Senator Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, presided over the event.
After the preliminary process, the qualified participants participated in the final round of the event. Rashad Reaz has been named JCI Bangladesh Public Speaking Champion 2023, Tazeen Nuwari Anwar became the Runners-up & the team of Ishmam Tasdik, Shahil Mahmud and Nafis Al Zamee has been named JCI Bangladesh Debate Champions 2023.

Miss. Marii Kitamura, World JCI Vice President for Asia and the Pacific, expressed her excitement to come to Bangladesh and attend the event. At the same time, she highly praised the activities of JCI Bangladesh. She also said JCI Debate and Public Speaking Championship has been an old event which has been in JCI. She also greeted everyone on how the organizations has grown.
Senator Erfan Haque, 2023 National Treasurer, 2023 National Executive Vice-President Seyed Mosayeb Alam of JCI Bangladesh who also displayed their roles as judges in the event. Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, 2023 National Vice President, Mahira Habib 2023 National Event Chair, 2023 Local President Noor, Zafir, Raisa, Tushar, Samiha, Rafael, Parvez Rana were present. 2023 National Liason to the Secretary General Shafquat Husain was Co-Convener and 2023 National Training Commissioner Senator Rezwanur Rahman, who was the event Convener as well were also present at the event and he spoke that debate and Public is an art and the way the scream of facts and words comes into play is the gain from this event.
