The second executive committee of the Rajshahi University Research Council has been formed. Mehdi Hasan Shaon, a student of the Anthropology Department of the university, has been made the president, and Azharul Islam, a student of the Accounting and Information Systems Department, has been made the general secretary.

The new committee was formed in the general annual meeting in Room 518 of Rabindranath Tagore Academic Building on Wednesday (November 1st) afternoon. The annual report of all the activities of the 1st Executive Committee of the organization was presented in the meeting.

Other members of the new committee are Senior Vice-President Sujjada Suhi, Vice-President Research Safayet Hossain, Administrative Vice-President Sagar Saha, Joint General Secretary Tanjim Hasan Prangan, Joint General Secretary Sadiqul Islam, Chief Finance Coordinator Rafiuzzaman Raktim, Asst. Finance Coordinator Sadia Afroz Tanu, External Organizing Secretary Redwanul Hasan, Internal Organizing Secretary Sheikh Maruf Ahmed, and Co-Organizing Secretary Mamunuzzaman Snigdh.

At this time, the moderator of Rabi Research Council, Associate Professor of Folklore Department, was present. Habibur Rahman and Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department. Imtiaz Hasan. Advisors of the organization – Associate Professor of Accounting and Information Systems Department. Suman Hossain and Saju Sardar, Associate Professor, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
