RU Representative: Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has decided to establish a complaint box to facilitate the submission of grievances by faculty, students, staff, and parents regarding academic and administrative matters.

The decision was announced during a committee meeting held on Sunday morning in the university’s conference room to discuss measures for addressing complaints. The meeting, presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam, emphasized the importance of establishing complaint boxes across campus, including in administrative buildings, departments, halls, and institutes. This initiative aims to provide an accessible platform for anyone facing issues to easily file a complaint.

In addition to the decision to set up complaint boxes, it was also announced that an awareness campaign and a discussion session will be organized on December 2nd to promote awareness about the process of filing complaints. Leaflets will be distributed within the campus premises to inform everyone about the new system.

The committee coordinating the complaint resolution system includes Professor Dr. M. Ashraful Alam, Coordinator of the Committee and Additional Registrar Arif Ahmed Choudhury, Director of Student Welfare Professor Dr. M. Raouf ul Awal, Controller of Examinations Touhid Arefin Khan, and Deputy Director of the Audit Cell Sheikh M. Mesbahul Arefin.

The meeting was chaired by the committee’s secretary and Additional Registrar Sadr Uddin.
