RU Representative:  orientation on the Student Feedback System organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Rajshahi University (RU) was inaugurated by the chief guest of the program, Vice-Chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar. The program was held on Thursday 28 December.

Inaugurating the orientation program, the Vice-Chancellor said in his speech that in university education, the evaluation of teachers and their opinions on teaching and relevant issues along with teachers’ evaluation of students is critical. Through this, a teacher’s teaching and students’ attitude in related matters is also revealed. For that purpose, online feedback has been arranged. Through this, the opinion of the concerned students about the teachers will be known which will play an important role in the lesson plan of the department.

IQAC Additional Director Prof. Abdur Rashid Sarkar presided over the training inauguration ceremony.

Special guests on the occasion were Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Sultan-ul-Islam and Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir. Under the chairmanship of IQAC director Professor Dulal Chandra Roy, additional director of IQSC Professor Md. Mashihur Rahman spoke. Rabi ICT Center director Professor Md. Khademul Islam Molya is a resource person there and a Network Engineer Sohag Hossain spoke about the process and method of giving feedback to students online.

Faculty Heads, Institute Directors, Departmental Self Assessment Committee Chairmen, and members participated in this day-long orientation.
