SSC and equivalent exams start tomorrow

This year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are starting tomorrow.
This time 20 lakh 24 thousand 192 students of 29 thousand 735 educational institutions are participating in the examination in 3 thousand 700 centers across the country.
SSC first day exam will start with Bengali first paper. The written exam will end on Tuesday, March 12. Practical exam will be held on March 13-20. 
20 lakh 24 thousand 192 candidates in 11 boards of the country this time. Among them 9 lakh 92 thousand 878 students and 10 lakh 31 thousand 314 female students. Total centers are 3 thousand 700. The number of educational institutions is 29 thousand 735.
2 lakh 90 thousand 940 people are participating in the entrance exam under Madrasa Board. Among them, 94 thousand 841 students and 31 thousand 532 female students. And the number of candidates in technical board is 1 lakh 26 thousand 373 people. Among them, 94 thousand 841 students and 31 thousand 532 female students.
Nine General Education Boards SSC, Madrasa Education Board Dakhil and Technical Education Board SSC and Dakhil are conducting the vocational examination.
Inter Education Board Coordinating Committee President and Dhaka Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar told BASS that all preparations for the SSC equivalent exam are over. There is no chance of question slip.
He said, we have delivered the question paper to the district. This time, we hope that the SSC and equivalent exams will be conducted in a completely copy-free environment. The law enforcement personnel are doing their work in between so that the examination can be conducted in a fake environment.
Tapan Kumar said, mentioning that strict action will be taken if the question paper leak rumors are spread, he said that they are fulfilling their duty so that no question paper leak rumors can be spread. If someone spreads rumours, law enforcement will take action.
He said that Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury is not going to visit the SSC examination center for the sake of students. All coaching centers in the country will remain closed till March 12.
A total of 20 lakh 72 thousand 163 candidates participated in the SSC and equivalent exams last year.
