IU Law and Land Management dept. organised ‘Iftar Mahfil’

IU correspondent: An ‘Iftar Mahfil’, organised by the Department of Law and Land Management, Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, was held at the University’s Mir Mosharraf Hossain Academic Building on 23 March 2024 amid festivity and religious values.

Assistant professor Shahida Akhter, Law and Land Management department chairperson, presided over the event. Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Emam (religious leader) of the University’s Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall Mosque, addressed the Mahfil as Special guest. Enamul Haque, Sub register of LLM dept, was pitched up the programme.

Conducted the programme by taking part in almost one hundred students of the department, The iftar mahfil set off with recitation from the Holy Quran. In addition, It’s purely wrapped up with Islamic Cultural events.

The special guest, Md Moniruzzaman, greeted the Department and emphasized on the significance of Ramadan in his speech. He delivered how to be a pious man.

I came here with my Senior and junior to have iftar together and most importantly, to have a good time. Besides Iftar time is a great opportunity for us to meet up and bond, Al Amin Talukder, student of this department, said.

Asistant Professor Shahida Akhter, Departmental Chairman, expressed, It organised for remaining equality to all religious students. Glad to complete this programme with religious values.
