IU Research Society holds International Workshop on Research Process

IU correspondent: Islamic University Research Society (IURS) set out an international workshop on ‘Research Process and Common Issues in Research’ to bring together faculty members, practitioners and enthusiasts in the field of research. The workshop was held on April 23 (11 AM) at Business Administration Building of the campus in Kushtia.

IURS president Sanowar Hossain, presided over the workshop, while Dr. Md Zakir Hossain, Chairman & Prof. of the Accounting and information System dept. of the university was present as special guest.

Keynote speeches led by renowned figure Dr. Abul Bashar Bhuiyan, associate professor, faculty of Business and Accountancy, University Selangor, Malaysia, Moderator of this workshop Prof. Dr. MD Khalid Hossain Jewel, Phd (USTC, China), faculty of EEE of Islamic University, Dr. Prof. Mizanur Rahman of Accounting and information system department of Islamic University were present of this workshop.

This workshop mainly focused on identifying research problems and formulating objectives, Writing research proposals, Developing research instruments for a research, writing a research report and learning ethics in research sector.

Addressing the workshop, Sanowar Hossain, said, It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about the latest trends, and network with peers.

At the keynote speech, Dr. Abul Bashar Bhuiyan told about how to cooperate with researchers, learn about unique idea, give up plagiarism from internet. He also advised the participants to use simple sentences & avoid complexities research in order to make it easy for the readers.
