RU Correspondent: Rajshahi University (RU) has started the admission test for the first-year undergraduate ‘A’ unit in session 2023-24. 40 students are competing for each seat. The exam started today at 9 am.
It is known that 74 thousand 785 applicants want admission in this four-shift admission test. 18 thousand in the first, second, and third shifts, and 18 thousand 697 in the fourth shift are taking part in the examination.
This year, 1 lakh 54 thousand 977 single applicants against 4 thousand 438 seats with quota in three units (A, B, C). Students’ merit is assessed on 80 multiple-choice questions of one-hour duration. The minimum pass mark was 40.
On overall security, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Golam Sabbir Sattar said, the university administration and other concerned are active along with the security forces for the smooth completion of the examination. They are working to prevent any untoward incident. He requested everyone’s cooperation to complete the examination properly.
