Rajshahi University (RU) Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hall 18 meritorious students are going to get gold medals. The gold medal will be presented at the meritorious student ceremony reception in the hall premises next Monday (March 11).

This information was confirmed by the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hall provost prof. Sujan Sen on Saturday (March 9) evening.

Under the chairmanship of Hall Provost Prof. Sujan Sen, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Golam Sabbir Sattar will be present as Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Sultan-ul-Islam (Administration) and Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir will be present as special guests and Treasurer Professor Abadur Rahman Pramanik.

Apart from this, Rajshahi-4 (Bagmara) Constituency MP Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Azad, sources said that is expected to be present.

Hall Provost Prof. Sujan Sen said that 18 meritorious students of the hall will be given gold medals on this occasion. Hope this award will inspire them in future life. On the same day, we will inaugurate the open stage inside the hall and inaugurate a five-seater guest room with a washroom in the office block of the hall for the alumni of the hall to stay on campus.
