Nstu decision not to keep validity on students’ ID cards

Noakhali Science and Technology University (Nstu) students’ ID cards will not mention the term, only the admission session will be mentioned. From the academic year 2023-24, students will be issued ID cards under new rules.

Recently this is known from a notice of the University Registrar’s Office. The university administration took a decision in this regard in the 62nd meeting of the academic council.

According to the notice, according to the decision of the 62nd meeting of the academic council of Noakhali University of Science and Technology, the period of time will not be mentioned in the ID card of the students. Admission sessions will be mentioned. The clearance form for collecting the original academic transcript/certificate from the Controller of Examinations will mention the clearance from the Cyber ​​Centre. A student will obtain clearance from the Cyber ​​Center subject to submission of the ID card at the Cyber ​​Center.”

The Cyber ​​Center provides ID cards to the students of the university. In this regard, Director (Acting) of the Cyber ​​Center ARM Mahmudul Hasan Rana said, “ID cards will be provided to the students of the new batch i.e. from the academic year 2023-24 according to the new rules. No need to replace the card. Students will submit the ID card at the Cyber ​​Center while collecting their original academic transcript/certificate.”
